Product:
WinOLS

Topic:
General

Question:
Where does WinOLS store data?

Answer:
1. Projects
The following folders contain your projects and must be backed up when moving to another PC:
UsagePath
ProjectsC:\Users\Public\Evc\WinOLS\
Projects (Reseller-Upload)C:\Users\Public\Evc\WinOLS\SellingThisFolder
Projects (Custom)Custom Folders. See F12>Clients

2. Configuration
The following folder contains their configuration. Q1004 shows how to transfer them easily. Because every Windows user has his own WinOLS configuration, the path depends on the current Windows user account.
UsagePath
Configuration + Logs%Appdata%\Evc\WinOLS.64Bit

3. Other
The following folders are automatically restored and do not necessarily need to be backed up:
UsagePath
WinOLS softwareC:\Program Files\EVC\WinOLS
Temporary reseller informationC:\Users\Public\EVC\WinOLS.64bit
Databases project listC:\ProgramData\Evc\WinOLS.64Bit\Local.db
Databases Reseller Project ListC:\ProgramData\Evc\WinOLS.64Bit\Reseller.db
Configuration files WinOLS as a serviceC:\ProgramData\Evc\WinOLS Service

The above paths may be partially invisible or displayed under other (localized) names. Therefore it is often difficult to reach them by clicking. Instead, copy the path text from this page and paste it into the address bar of the Windows File Explorer. It will automatically be replaced by your localized path.
